Adam and Ashley

Hilarious- that is the best way to sum up our day with Adam and Ashley! There was always something interesting brewing and their son Leighton was a total champ and was still going strong when we left. Although some rain did manage to take away some of our "formals" fun it just made more bar time for Adam and Ashley which I don't think they minded. Congratulations you two- here are you teasers!

Mark and Jess

Here they are- Mark and Jess!!! Jess was paranoid that she wasn't going to look good- but I think she looks absolutely great. Another perfect day in Minneapolis- 78 and sunny at 12:00pm- who could ask for more- besides these to who were up for anything!

I thought I better add a "just for the record" type of comment- we do totally do traditional engagement images as well- I just like to put the fun stuff on the blog!

Morgan and Dan's Wedding

Morgan had an absolutely gorgeous wedding with no detail overlooked! From the announcements to the reception tables- F A B U L O U S! Thank you Morgan and Dan for letting us share in your day- here is your sneak peak from the day.

Tim

Tim had the most fun ever and we were so glad that we were able to get the whole family in on the act! Thanks Ellen, Dave, and Tim for making time to come in for a session!

Luke and Andy

$260.00 dollars in gas receipts, $225.00 in car repairs, one broken d200, 4 hours of our daughter screaming on the way home from Warroad- Photographing Luke and Andy's wedding PRICELESS!!!

Luke is a council member just like me with MPPA (Minnesota Professional Photographers Association) and a friend so there was just a little bit of pressure to get everything "perfect"! The day was a wonderful comedy of errors- from me trying to find a tire in Warroad before the wedding to the torrential rain pour that started half way through the ceremony. Thank you so much Luke and Andy for honoring me with the assignment of covering your wedding- I hope you love the "teasers" and boy do I have some black mail images for our next council meeting!!!!!

Congratulations to Luke and Andy your wedding was the "event" of the season.

Hank

This is one of those great moments in time and I would be surprised if Hank's dad doesn't immediately tear up seeing this video! Hank's family was going through a really hard time and this little session was an oasis and a super positive fun time for the whole family. Something to consider- we all want the best of the best for our kids- in the end they just want to be with Dad and Mom and their family- Capture it!! I am in the business of photography and above cost/money/everything else- would say to capture everything you can- I will help you in any way that the we can from a studio session to one on one SLR /Digital camera training- You can't get it back and I would rather be a struggling business person than a soulless money counter any day- If you have questions about photography just ask!!

Camping Fun

Can you tell I am in love with Animoto! Here is a clip from one of our camping trips. I can't say enough how much I love my "pack" and how much they enrich my life! I hope you enjoy the brief glimpse into my real life!

Little Maya

Anyone that hangs around the studio knows that Mary and I are constantly giving each other a hard time- AKA putting each other under the bus! Every once and awhile I gotta give credit where credit is due- here is a delightful session with little Maya that Mary photographed for the studio last week. Mary did an awesome job and even got some smiles from an apparent "tough cookie". Good job Mary and I hope everyone enjoys!

By the way- Mary's Car just died and is going to cost a fortune to fix- If you see her on the street please give her a hug- I think she needs it!!!!!

A rite of passage~

The "Labiss" rite of passage- Bring the "offending" graduate into the studio on Graduation day for a fun quick session! Rumour has it there will even be a diploma handed to Christian as he walks the stage. Congrats and we hope you enjoy the sneak peak.

Ryan and Michelle

What can I say- I have the best clients in the world!!!! I can't think of a time that I didn't have fun running around working with them to create fun images- Ryan and Michelle were no exception- I got to here about the bachelor parties in Vegas and all sorts of other fun stories. I am thankful everyday for all the great people I get to work with- I have the best job in the world!

Micah and Jasmine

Mary did an awesome job with Micah and Jasmine!! It has been great watching Mary's photography just blossom in the past year and a half as she photographs more and more weddings! You can tell that she has been taught by one of the best wedding photographers in Minneapolis (That would be me!!)- All kidding aside congratulations to Micah and Jasmine and thank you so much for letting Mary have the opportunity to be a part of your day!

Meagan and Steven

Meagan is absolutely hilarious- She had me laughing all day long- Even when we all got rained on at the park!! We had a first (we we don't get that many anymore!) Meagan's mom absolutely had to have an image with all of the grandchildren/family before the wedding- the only catch Meagan and Steven absolutely did not want to see each other before the wedding!! Solution- we had Stevens eyes covered and backed him into place- they were inches apart but didn't get a peak!! You can totally tell these two are so in love with each other- they absolutely light up whenever they are near one another.
