More contestants!

Who says procrastination doesn't pay......These two didn't make it to orientation so they got to come to the studio for their headshots and get two images on the blog instead of one! It looks like it is going to be a tough field this year who will win?????? Zoey and Family

We had some firsts in this session! First photo shoot for Zoey, first snow angel (Zoey was not a fan!) and we of course got mom and dad on camera which is not their favorite thing to do! In the end I do believe that a good time was had by all and I even have the images to prove it. Hope everyone enjoys the sneak peak and don't forget to take some time to enjoy the holiday season (deep breathes everyone this is supposed to be the best time of the year!!!!).

Little Ellie

I love this time of year!! Not only is the holiday magic in the air but I always get the little ones in as well! Meet Ellie- she may or may not have been a little suspicious at first but after hanging out, playing with blocks and getting to know her new surroundings the smiles cam out like the sun from behind the clouds. Can't wait for the new year so I can watch more children grow before my eyes and meet new friends as well!

Wedding Love

I have been so busy with families/babies this holiday season I forgot to give my wedding couples some love! Believe it or not these images were created just weeks ago when we were having our very warm late November- wouldn't want to be outside today! This is Erin and Chris and they are one of the nicest couples that you will ever meet- their day was fabulous and I even got to run into some friends that I photographed their wedding a couple of years ago. I know it is engagement season as well- CALL THE STUDIO SOON- we are past the half way to our magic number! Hope everyone is having an awesome holiday season that is low stress~

Tis the season

We laughed, we cried but most importantly we created beautiful images of these two (Oh and mom and dad too) boys that can be treasured for a lifetime! It is so amazing how fast time goes by- It seems like I was just doing Ryan's 1 year portrait - now there are two of them and look how big they are! I can only say that I am glad that I am not getting older............ Enjoy the images.

Giving back!

The holidays are upon us so what better way to get into the spirit than giving back! I got a call from a fellow photographer asking me if I would help her with a project to photograph kids/families that otherwise couldn't afford it. I of course said yes- so we packed up the studio and did some really nice portraits on location. The families will get a copy of the portrait and also received presents, got to play games, meet an inspired elf (www.inspiredelf.com) the whole thing was really cool and I was glad that I could be a part of it- Thanks for thinking of me Amy! Family fun

There is still time to get your family in I promise! This coming weekend is going to be crazy but it's the holidays- I think it is supposed to be that way..........

Here is Katie, Griz and their crew- rumour has it that Griz had had too much fun the night before and was feeling a little pekid....... I am totally not buying it he looks FABULOUS.......I spent most of the session laughing and trying to answer all of the questions from a 2.5 year old and a 3.5 year old. These guys have there hands full! Success and wonderful images were created- I love my job!

Here they are (well some of them anyways!) the 2010 Miss Coon Rapids contestants! This is a big one this year as it celebrates the 50th year that they have had it. I unfortunately haven't been photographing the pageant that long (or not!) but this is our fifth year with the organization so we must be doing something right. Check out there site it is pretty cool and gives you all of the information you need to be a contestant or even a sponsor!

An album

How sweet is this album! Mike and Jenny had an incredible wedding day and we have some many great images that a flush mount design was definitely the way to go. All of our flush mount designs are handcrafted- no drop and drag templates for this studio- The advantage being that we can incorporate whatever you would like in the album- it will be your album that you will cherish and show your children, and their children so why not make it just the way you want!

For those of you who are just too busy to get your butts to the studio this is the kind of work you can expect from us (it totally doesn't suck!).
